About LaundryMoney.com

This web site is part of the SmartLaundry® card system by BridgePoint Systems, Inc. This system is used in multi-unit housing complexes, and other facilities where people pay for the use of laundry equipment.

The SmartLaundry card is used instead of coins, to pay for the use of the washers and dryers in the laundry room. It's a Smart Card, which is the same size and shape as a credit card, but contains a small computer chip. This chip allows the card to process transactions and store information. In the case of SmartLaundry, money is added to the card, then a set amount is subtracted for each washer and dryer load. The same card can be used for additional applications, such as secure access to your building.

SmartLaundry card readers are used with commercial laundry machines from General Electric, Speed Queen, and Maytag. They're installed right in the top of the machine, in the area where a coin box would have been. Just insert the card, select the cycle, and the correct amount is deducted from the card.

There are several ways to add money to the SmartLaundry card; this web site is one of them. For details on how LaundryMoney works, click here.
